About Lisa Zimmerly,
Founder of PMA
Meet the founder of Pearl Medical Aesthetics, Lisa Zimmerly, Master Aesthetician, Certified Advanced Injector, Clinical Trainer, and leading expert in medical aesthetics with nearly two decades of experience.
In 2018 Lisa founded Pearl Medical Aesthetics with a vision to create a boutique medial spa in the heart of downtown Boise that is built on innovation, integrity, and results-oriented care.
Aesthetic Career
Lisa’s career in medical aesthetics began in 2006, when she graduated at the top of her class in Utah’s Master Aesthetics program. That same year, she began advanced training under one of the pioneers of aesthetic laser technology, igniting a lifelong passion for clinical laser applications.
Since then, she has built extensive expertise in multi-technology laser therapies and the full spectrum of skin rejuvenation.
Her specialties include IPL photofacials, acne treatments, skin tightening, body contouring, resurfacing, PRP therapies for hair and skin regeneration, and advanced microneedling techniques.
With deep knowledge of both surgical and non-surgical aesthetics, Lisa designs personalized treatment plans tailored to a wide range of goals, ages, and budgets.
Her extensive knowledge of both traditional and advanced medical aesthetics provides her clients with a truly full-spectrum level of care—bringing together foundational skin health treatments with cutting-edge technologies and injectable artistry.
Outside the Clinic...
Outside the clinic, Lisa embraces Idaho’s outdoor lifestyle—mountain biking, snowboarding, camping, and fishing!
A dedicated community advocate, she volunteers with several local organizations, including the Idaho Fallen Firefighters Foundation, fundraising efforts for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the Boise Local 140 Community Assistance Fund.
She is also an active volunteer with the Boise Local 140 Community Assistance Fund, where her business, Pearl Medical Aesthetics, proudly sponsors and donates to numerous events that directly support the fund’s outreach efforts.
Since 2012, she has served as an ambassador for numerous community initiatives and is also a member of the National Association of Professional Women.

Expertise in Injectables
In 2014, Lisa expanded her practice to include cosmetic injectables. She has completed advanced training and certification programs through Allergan, Galderma, and Merz, as well as private one-on-one mentorships in Sculptra applications and advanced cannula techniques.
With more than a decade of experience in injectables, she specializes in full-face rejuvenation using dermal fillers in combination with biostimulators such as Sculptra, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and injectable growth factors.
This layered approach restores youthful contours, improves skin quality, and delivers elegant, natural-looking outcomes. Her philosophy centers on subtlety—achieving refreshed, harmonious results without ever appearing “overdone.”
Professional Contributions
Lisa has become one of the few non-medically licensed professionals contracted as a Clinical Trainer by Alma Lasers, educating clinics nationwide in laser physics and advanced protocols. She also serves as a Clinical Trainer and member of the sales team for Powered by MRP, sharing her technical expertise across the industry.
She holds active licenses in both Utah and Idaho, with certifications spanning lasers, injectables, microneedling, and a wide range of medical-grade skincare systems.

Pearl isn’t meant to be big or flashy. It’s intentionally designed to feel boutique, personal, and welcoming. I want every client to walk through our doors and know they are deeply cared for, not just as patients, but as people.
Consultation is never about selling. It’s about listening. I prioritize clients’ concerns in the order they express them, rather than overwhelming them with options or a list of treatments. This builds trust, allowing them to feel heard and in control of their aesthetic journey.
I understand that many clients arrive feeling vulnerable. My job isn’t just to treat skin; it’s to help restore confidence. There’s an art to this, an intuitive finesse that guides the treatment process gently and respectfully. I always remind clients that we can build slowly. It’s okay to start small and add more later.

With over 30 years of nursing experience Allison brings her expertise in Hormones (HRT), Functional, and Aesthetic Medicine to our full scope of Medical Aesthetics.
She specializes in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), testosterone and thyroid optimization, and FDA-approved weight loss injections such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide—all tailored to help you regain balance, vitality, and confidence.
Her approach is individualized, combining advanced lab testing, evidence-based therapies, and ongoing support every step of the way. With a dedication to providing personalized and compassionate care, her kind nature and ability to listen make her an ideal provider for those seeking a comprehensive and tailored regimen for healthy and youthful living.
In addition to her clinical work, Alison is a dedicated educator, sharing her knowledge through professional lectures, presentations, and conferences to the next generation of providers. As a proud Army veteran, she holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, furthering her commitment to providing the highest level of care.
When she's not working, Alison loves spending time with her 2 grown boys, 4 fur babies, the Idaho outdoors, cozying up with her coffee and a fuzzy blank.

Bailey Hanchett is a highly skilled aesthetician who graduated at the top of her class in 2023 from Premiere Aesthetics Institute. She brings a passion for advanced aesthetics to the Pearl team and is committed to continually expanding her expertise and service offerings.
Known for her attentive listening and ability to craft customized treatment plans, Bailey takes pride in delivering both visible results and a soothing, elevated experience. Her signature facial massage and skillful use of combination treatments have quickly made her a client favorite.
Bailey’s professionalism, paired with her warm and approachable personality, makes her a valuable part of the Pearl team. She is currently welcoming new clients and looks forward to helping them achieve their skin care goals.
Outside of the treatment room, Bailey enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their two beloved dogs. Whether fishing, golfing, or exploring Idaho’s scenic beauty, she fully embraces the Boise lifestyle.
